Boat Radio finds out how this crew couple followed their dreams

Six years ago, Laura Presley was a fitness instructor. Now she and husband Nathan run charters aboard a luxury Leopard 58 catamaran based in the British Virgin Islands. Hear the inspiring story of how Laura and Nathan quit the rat race and followed their dreams.

This wonderful lady who I had the pleasure to work with a while ago has been interviewed by Mike McDowall from Boat Radio.

To listen to the interview go the ‘listen again’ section of www.boatradio.net or click below and be inspired!

Boat Radio is the first talk radio station aimed at boat owners, world cruisers, ocean sports enthusiasts, and armchair adventurers everywhere.  Programmes are packed with compelling tales and inspiring stories from often ordinary people who’ve achieved extraordinary things, plus there are interviews with prominent people from the world of sailing, exploration and endurance sports. There’s also plenty of practical advice and an indelible streak of marine conservation. The presenters are a mixture of radio professionals, scientific researchers, conservationists and live-aboard bloggers.

Founded by Mike Dowdall and broadcast from sunny Palma de Mallorca, if you have any questions or suggestions for the team, get in touch via their contact page or send an email to hello@boatradio.net.

Captains and Crew Facebook page from Monaco Yacht Show

Possibly one of the biggest honours I will get for my career in marketing within the superyacht industry happened last week…

I received a call from the Monaco Yacht Show asking me to meet with them and discuss social media, specifically Captains and crew social media. After a fantastic meeting at the HQ in Monaco I am now officially developing the MYS Captains and Crew Lounge social media accounts, and I couldn’t be more thrilled!
