Luxury golf entertainment company Off the Deck has been backed by an American PGA TOUR winning golfer.
Taylor Moore and his adviser Sean King have each invested in Off the Deck, providing backing and celebrity endorsement for the company’s debut product, the SeaDriveCX. Sean will join the board as Non-Executive Chairman and Taylor as a Strategic Advisor to the company.
Their investment will support Off the Deck in rolling out its state-of-the-art all carbon golf simulator to the superyacht industry, as it redefines the golfing experience on board the world’s largest yachts. Engineered for golfing enthusiasts and inspired by the tech boom in sports, the product cleverly integrates advanced simulation technology into a portable, yacht-ready golf simulator that requires zero retrofitting or installation.
The SeaDriveCX was first seen on board Motor Yacht Loon in May, when the crew enjoyed a demo day ahead of the iconic yacht receiving the world's first superyacht golf simulator ready for the 2025 Mediterranean charter season. Off the Deck has since sparked high levels of interest from owners, captains and guests, and the company is taking pre-orders now to secure delivery in 2025.
Handcrafted at the company’s production facility near Silverstone, Northamptonshire - home of Formula 1 - the SeaDriveCX is made entirely from lightweight, lay-up optimised carbon fibre and engineered by a team of F1 specialists. It is designed to be simple to set up, portable and stowable and able to withstand the harsh maritime environments.
Founded by ex chief officer Ashley Hare, his brother Alex Hare who was a senior executive at Pitch, a leading London based indoor golf club, and entrepreneur Alan Shubotham, the three golf enthusiasts have elevated golf to a level never seen on board before.

The Off the Deck team will be in attendance at the upcoming Cannes Yacht Show and Monaco Yacht Show in September 2024.
